All cities are administratively divided into zones and wards. A ward is the smallest unit of administration with an elected representative ( Councillor / Corporator ) and staff (engineers, health inspectors, etc.). Wards make it easier for citizens to participate in governance and strengthen grassroot level democracy.

Method 1 : Through street signs.
Find your ward number written on a street sign. In the above case the ward number is 179. You can use google lens to translate if you need to.
Method 2 : Find your ward number through the Know your Ward option in the BBMP website - https://bbmp.gov.in/home.

Other Methods: Look at documents like ration card, property tax documents or walk to the nearest govt office building and ask for details like Health Care Center, BESCOM Office, etc.
You can then call BBMP helpline number 1533 and ask for the AEE, JHI or SHI details as per requirement
