The problem we had tried to solve was the use of sanitary pads which posed a threat to the environment and to our own health. We wanted to solve this issue because as girls, we wanted to contribute to saving the environment and spreading awareness on sustainable menstruation as the current product used is harmful.
Results of survey conducted for 110 women
The campaign is #Green_the_red.
It is an awareness campaign in which those who are interested in sustainable menstrual products can try them out and tag themselves under the hashtag and share their honest feedback and changes from using the product.
4 people have actually changed to our suggestions. However proof cant be provided as it was verbal and visual conversation.

The problem we want to solve is poor air conditions in houses and I want to solve this because to prevent people from getting diseases due to poor air quality.
Air pollution kills an estimated seven million people worldwide every year. WHO data shows that 9 out of 10 people breathe air that exceeds WHO guideline limits containing high levels of pollutants, with low- and middle-income countries suffering from the highest exposures
The problem is happening because of the emission of harmful gases from factories, industries, vehicles, agricultural land being burnt and power plants.
Approximately 3.162mg/m3 of dust can be found in average home.

The problem that we want to solve is Water Crisis in Indian States like Tamil Nadu .In 2019 Chennai water crisis was a water crisis occurring in India, most notably in the city of Chennai in Tamil Nadu. On 19 June 2019, Chennai city officials declared that “Day Zero”, or the day when almost no water is left, had been reached, as all the four main reservoirs supplying water to the city had run dry. So what I want to Solve this Problem.

The problem we want to solve is treating of Sewage. Sewage disposal is a major problem in developing countries as many people in these areas don’t have access to sanitary conditions and clean water.Untreated sewage water in such areas can contaminate the environment and cause diseases such as diarrhoea.Sewage is treated in water treatment plants and the waste is often disposed into the sea.
Huge quantities of untreated sewage was let into Cooum river at Thiruverkadu in 2019. Discharge pipe of the sewage is hardly 500m away from Thiruverkadu Bus Depot and hundreds of people pass by the adjacent Thiruverkadu salai daily. A resident of that locality said that the officials inspected the spot in July and took some photos but no further actions was taken.
Stakeholders that could amplify our work - CMWSSB, ISI certification, Water test report form an authorized laboratory.
Projected Impact - More than 60% of sewage in India remains untreated, using this solution that figure can be brought down. Also using drip irrigation can be boon for places where water is not available.
